Upsala Area Schools will be hosting an event that will be presented by Northern Pines. Northern Pines is an outside organization that provides mental health support to our students and families in the district. They will be hosting an evening presentation of a movie called ANGST on Thursday, March 21st, at 6:00pm in the High School Auditorium. Angst is a film that was created and geared towards middle school and high schoolers to discuss anxiety and mental health needs that people may face on a day-to-day basis. Morrison County is funding this project for us to present this video to parents and guardians in our district. Parents will view the movie and a Q&A panel to follow. The runtime combined will be an hour and a half, 45 minutes for the film and 45 minutes for the panel. We feel this video is both informational and educational for parents when it comes to anxiety. While you are here for conferences, check it out!
