Upsala's two FIRST Lego League teams, 64211 and 69467, competed yesterday in Bemidji. They did an extraordinary job growing through the difficult challenges and left an incredible impression on the judges and refs. All of the students should be proud for their accomplishments!

Thanks to Fuel Up: Kids In-School Health and Wellness Program and the grant that was applied for and received, our students are now able to purchase healthy smoothies every Friday. Thank you to Student Council and Head Cook Alice for being willing to help out and make this happen!

The elementary holiday concerts are Tuesday, December 16 .

Every year, each school in Minnesota is able to nominate one junior male and one junior female for the MSHSL ExCEL Award. The ExCEL Award stands for Excellence in Community, Education, and Leadership. It's purpose is to recognize Minnesota juniors who are active in school activities, leaders in their schools, and who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service.

Upsala's 2025-26 ExCEL Award recipients are Sam Laliberte and Anne Ripplinger.

Their applications will be submitted to the MSHSL ExCEL Committee, who will review all applicants and select winners from each region to be recognized during an on-court ceremony at the Class AAA championship game of the Girls Basketball State Tournament.
