Congratulations to Upsala Junior Quinn Guthrie, who advanced to the Minnesota State Cross Country Meet after running a personal best time of 16:14.9 at the Section 5A Meet in Litchfield on Thursday evening. The time is also a new Upsala/Holdingford program record.

First graders are learning how sand is made in Science!

Upsala Preschool visited Vitality Living this week. The students and residents were able to share coloring pages, books, stories and many smiles too!

Morrison County deputies visited kindergarten this morning for their annual fingerprinting program. Students whose parents consented to the program were given their child's completed fingerprint card for safekeeping at home. Thank you Morrison County Sheriff's Office! 🚓👮‍♂️

October in preschool has been a fun-filled month for our little Cardinals!

Ms. Mindy's Preschool 3's have been busy building hand-eye coordination, fine motor, and early numeracy skills with these October activities.

To more first graders have learned 200 sight words! Congratulations Leo and Maverick!

The Upsala volleyball team will open up their Section 5A playoffs on Wednesday night, squaring off against Mille Lacs at 7:00pm. The game will be at Onamia High School, tickets must be purchased online.

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, Oct 15th is a 2 hour late start and the all school evacuation drill will take place at 3pm. Information on the evacuation was sent home with elementary students and JMC messages have gone out to all families. Any questions contact Principal Klug.

Did you know sensory play builds and strengthens connections in our early childhood brain? We are getting ready for more complex learning by exploring colors, textures, scents and noises. Play is learning!
