
Upsala Area Schools' Bond Referendum Vote Question 1 is asking to provide funds for the acquisition and betterment of school sites and facilities, including including improvements and upgrades to HVAC, electrical systems and roofing, the installation of dehumidification improvements, and the acquisition and installation of replacement boilers.
The attached image shows what Question 1 is looking to help replace/repair within the district.

The Upsala All Sports Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 1st at 7:00pm in the school auditorium. We ask all students and parents that plan on participating in a MSHSL sponsored student-activity to attend.
The meeting will include coach contact information, MSHSL sign-up forms, and physical forms (if needed) for every student-athlete.
New this year, there will be a meeting for 7-12 girls' soccer at 6:30pm before the main sports meeting with the Little Falls Head Coach. This will provide parents and girls planning on playing soccer this fall with information prior to the start of the season.

The attached image is the estimated Tax Breakdown for a residential home value. Using $150,000 home value as the example (Average value of Morrison County homes).
By voting to approve question 1 the ANNUAL estimated change in taxes would be $75 or $6.25 a month.
By Voting to approve question 2, the ANNUAL estimated change in taxes would be $61 or $5.08 a month.
A combined vote approving questions 1 and 2, would increase the total ANNUAL by $136, or $11.33 a month.

The Upsala High School Robotics team, UC-Botics worked with our Kindergarten class in Spring. The students were building with DUPLOS and learning about Energy Concepts.





This spring Mr. Riitter's class piloted the FIRST LEGO League ClassPack. This program provided students a hands on learning activity with STEM concepts.
Students were tasked in building a small LEGO robot and then complete various tasks on the playing field scoring points.

This is a reminder that there are three public meetings scheduled regarding the referendum vote to be held August 8. The first meeting will be this Thursday, July 13 at 6 pm. The other two will be Monday, July 17 at 6 pm & 7:30 pm. Meetings will be held in the media center.
