Kerry says: As an Upsala graduate, I have always had strong ties to the Upsala School District. Both of my daughters, Kaylin and Christen, graduated from Upsala as well. I worked in the school as a paraprofessional and a substitute teacher before getting my teaching license. I have taught art in Swanville for the past seven years, but I am truly excited to be coming home!

Avery says: My name is Avery Jackson and I’m very excited to be joining the Upsala school district this year as a first grade teacher. I had such a great experience being a long term sub in the district and cannot wait to have my own classroom here!

Congratulations to 8th Grader Richelle Thompson, who earned JV Player of the Game in the Little Falls/Upsala soccer season opener this evening against Detroit Lakes. This is the inaugural season for Upsala competing in soccer, great start to the season with JV and Varsity wins!

Junior High Volleyball Families:
Before school practices will be Aug 28, 29 & 30. Monday & Tuesday will be 3:30-5:00 and Wednesday will be 1:00-2:30. Practice will then resume on the first day of school Sept 5. The first junior high game is Sept 7.
