Avery is our Upsala World Record Holder ... She can hula hoop for 15 minutes and counting! The only reason she had to stop was to go back to class after PE!

Thank you to the Grey Eagle United Methodist Church for their generous donation of winter gear for our students!

Kendra pieing Jack in the face!

Kindergarten is thankful for friends! Today we enjoyed a feast of popcorn, apples, milk, toast and our own homemade butter. Happy Thanksgiving!

What are you thankful for?

6th and 9th grade AVID classes hosted our school's annual food drive before the holidays. This year we were able to donate 1,086 pounds of items! Special thanks to the 3rd and 8th graders for bringing in the most items in the elementary and high school.

Here's the school lunch menu for December. A pdf version is available on our website: https://www.upsala.k12.mn.us/page/food-nutrition

Upsala is proud to announce this year's ExCEL Award recipients, Isaiah Sobiech and Isabelle Klug. ExCEL is a Minnesota State High School League award, which is awarded to one junior male and one junior female in each Minnesota school district. The program recognizes juniors who are leaders in the classroom, leaders in their respective athletic and arts activities, and demonstrate commitment to community service. Congratulations, Isabelle and Isaiah!
