FREE WILL DONATION!
During Open House on Wednesday the Community Ed department will have multiple baseball/softball items set out in the hallway next to the main gym for you to take home. There will be a free will donation bucket set out and ALL proceeds will go to the Community Ed fund for new jerseys and hats for the summer ball program!
An incredible donation came in yesterday for the silent auction at the Carnival! Kiddie Train with 6 cars, 7 passenger seats, pulls easy and tracked really well. Thank you to Mark and Esther Koehn for the donation!

We need your help!
We are excited to introduce the NEXT Studio at Upsala Area Schools! It is a hands-on life skills classroom designed to help students from PreK–12th grade build confidence, independence, and real-world skills in a supportive learning environment.
The NEXT Studio provides students with opportunities to practice meaningful, functional skills they will use throughout their lives, including:
✓ Daily living skills
✓ Communication and self-advocacy
✓ Organization and independence
✓ Cooking and nutrition skills
✓ Money management
✓ Job readiness and workplace skills
✓ Social skills and problem-solving
✓ Community and real-life experiences
This innovative space allows students to learn by doing — creating opportunities for practice, growth, and success at every age and ability level.
📢 We need help collecting many of the items needed to set up our space and develop leveled task boxes in many daily living categories. We have created an Amazon wishlist to reflect the items we are looking for. If you have any of these gently used items at home and you are willing to donate them for this project, we would greatly appreciate it! If you would like to help by purchasing items from our wishlist, please use the link. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/OQ0HAU5LGT0A?ref_=wl_share
If you have any questions, please reach out to Amber Mayers at amayers@upsala.k12.mn.us or Courtney Justin at cjustin@upsala.k12.mn.us.
Items can be dropped off in the office at Upsala Area Schools.
We are very excited about this project and greatly appreciate any help towards achieving our goal!
Thank you!
