Today the 3s preschool class painted and played with water! We learned boats float!




The 5th and 6th graders are working on a unit that gives them an opportunity to create their own game and be the teacher in class. These students can be very creative and know how to involve all of their classmates!




The 4 year old preschool class read over 369 books in the month of February! Congratulations to Leila and Hayes for reading the most book in each class! Preschool LOVES to read!



Our students attended the CLC Career Exploration day. There they were able to see and experience, first person, a variety of career pathways and job opportunities.


We've had a couple people ask and yes, snowmobile safety WILL happen tomorrow regardless of how much snow cover we have.

The Upsala boys' basketball team defeated Maple Lake last night 88-36, advancing to the second round of the Section 5A playoffs.

The Upsala band received Superior ratings! Thank you Mr. Pohland and Pierz for hosting. Thank you Dr. Justin T. Zanchuk and Dr. Peter J. Haberman for the great clinic and comments. Snow stopped the other judges from coming, but we had a fantastic day listening and learning.


The boys' basketball team begins their playoff journey tomorrow night (Thursday) at 7:00pm in Upsala against Maple Lake. Once again, the Minnesota State High School League is requiring purchasing tickets online for the event.

Upsala Athletics Updates!
What a fun Saturday to unpack - here are some updates from today:
Jake Leners and Brandon Mugg competed in the individual state wrestling tournament yesterday and today. Jake went 2-2 in his first state individual appearance, while Brandon went 4-2 and took home 5th place! Congratulations to both of you!
The Upsala girls' basketball team knocked off BBE in the sub-section semifinal today in Hinckley by a score of 54-51. The game was tied at 51-51 with less than a minute left when Isabel Ripplinger hit a three-pointer to put the Cardinals ahead for the win! They will take on Braham in the sub-section final on Tuesday night at 7:00pm in Foley. More information will come on tickets and stream tomorrow.
The Upsala boys' basketball team earned the #1 seed in their section, they will open up their playoff run on Thursday at 7:00pm in Upsala.

I Love to Read Month guest readers in Kindergarten! ❤️











The 3 year old preschool class has been learning about things that go! Last week we painted and played with vehicles with wheels. This week we painted cloud pictures and talked about vehicles that fly in the sky! Next week: Boats Float!
