Tomorrow (Saturday) some members of the drama club will be presenting the one act play "Carl Flunt Would Protect You From Trucks" at the subsection competition in Sauk Centre. We go on at 9am and are the first of six plays being presented by area schools. Break a leg!

Sr. High knowledge bowl competed at CLC in Staples today. The team of Lois, Meeli, Kira, and Evelynn took 4th out of 26 teams. Owen, Abigail, Lucylee, Landon, Aiden, Paul, and Jacob also represented Upsala well. Go Cardinals!
The Upsala boys' basketball game that was scheduled for tonight against LPGE has been postponed due to illness at the opposing district. The makeup date will be Monday, February 24th in Upsala.
Our high school robotics team has made it again to the Minnesota school board associations annual winter conference. They will be sharing what first Robotics is like and what it means to them.

Our Junior High Knowledge Bowl had their first meet today at Central Lakes College in Staples. Our program is growing, we were able to bring three teams to compete today against other schools in the area. One of our teams even brought home first place ribbons!
Two more first graders have become STAR readers!!!
Upsala Basketball Information - Tuesday, January 7th:
The Upsala girls' basketball team will take on conference foe Browerville-Eagle Valley tonight. They will play in the Clarissa gym with JV at 6:00pm and Varsity afterwards.
The boys' program is also on the road, heading to Royalton to square off against the Royals. The JV and C-Squad will both play at 4:30pm, with Varsity to follow at 6:00pm.

Basketball Doubleheader Details Tonight!
The boys' and girls' basketball teams will be hosting the Braham Bombers tonight (January 3rd) in Upsala for a fun evening of hoops. Here is the schedule for the evening:
Boys' JV @ 4:15pm ... Main Gym
Girls' JV @ 4:15pm ... Small Gym
Boys' V @ 5:45pm ... Main Gym
Girls' V @ 7:15pm ... Main Gym
Also the boys will travel to Swanville tomorrow afternoon (January 4th) , making up their game that was postponed a few weeks ago. The JV will be playing at 1:30pm, only one half, followed by the Varsity at 2:45pm.
