Even with an inflatable Halloween costume on, one of our 5th graders was still able to master push-ups!



The 4 Year Old Preschoolers went on their Community Helper field trip on Oct 18. They got to tour the Hardware Store, Chiropractic Office, Lange Oil, Paul & Kathy's, Stearns Bank, Post Office, Library, & Community Center! Thank you to our Community Helpers for a fun afternoon!




The Cardinal volleyball team defeated Northland and move on to their next playoff match Friday, September 27th in Isle vs. Mille Lacs. The game will begin at 7:00pm and will be broadcasted on KKIN-FM 94.3 as well as rjbroadcasting.com.

The Upsala robotics team made their way to Babbitt MN today to help with the set up for the NMRC event. This event will be starting tomorrow around 1 PM and should go until close to 7 PM and then finish off on Saturday morning right around 8 AM until noon, wish us luck!





First graders learning about erosion!







The annual costume parade for elementary students will be tomorrow (Friday) at 1:00 pm in the big gym. The public is invited to attend.

The Technology Exploration class has been exploring and programming mini Drones. They have been able to accomplish a number of tasks that follow basics of programming and understanding variables and conditionals.

The Minnesota State High School League is pushing for online ticketing for playoff events this year again. The link below will give you the option to purchase online for the volleyball playoff game on Thursday vs. Northland. Once you purchase, it will give you a QR code that you scan at the ticket booth on game night. It will be $8 via online, or $10 if you choose to pay cash at the door. Come cheer on our Cardinals!

Cardinal volleyball received the 7th seed for playoffs. Come pack the gym on Thursday, Oct. 26 as they take on the 10 seed Northland at 7:00 pm.

Upsala students will be traveling to Ireland and Scotland in 2025! In order to help raise funds for the trip, we are sponsoring a shoe drive. The group funds2orgs will pay cash for every pound of gently used shoes we collect. (No roller blades/skates or ice skates.) Please drop off new or gently used pairs of shoes in the collection boxes in the school commons or the entryway of the Sytek/Library building. A quick reminder that parents' night for the USA football team is tonight in Swanville at the regular season finale contest against West Central. The game will start at 7:00pm, with parents being announced at 6:50pm. Come support our Patriots as they try to improve to 7-1 on the season!
