Cross country varsity boys take 2nd out of 17 teams at Hinckley-Finlayson. Quinn (3, 16:51), Dawson (5, 17:01), Matthew (20, 17:41), Jimmy (22, 17:42), Owen (37, 18:16), Nick (48, 18:30), and Cameron (57, 18:53).
Tomorrow night is Parents Night for our volleyball team! All parents of our Varsity, JV, and C-Squad teams will be announced tomorrow evening alongside their daughters . This will take place directly after the JV game, before the Varsity teams begin warmups. To be safe, it is recommended to show up by 6:25pm. Go Cardinals!
Upsala School Receives Middle School music Grant - Peter J. Marsh Foundation
The purpose of the Middle School Music Grant is to provide a remarkable venue and experience for students where their emotional senses are awakened and they are inspired to advance musically, scholastically and socially. Additionally, the Grant provides for the acquisition of in-school music classroom equipment and supplies.
Upsala will be sharing music and time with the senior community.

JV cross country girls ran hard and did a great job this weekend. Annika (225) out of 265.
There were so many boys in the JV cross country race that they split them into two races - so it is difficult to know places and team results. Brayden ran a season best time and had a lot of fun.
Boys varsity cross country was 4th out of 37 teams this weekend. Quinn (9), Matthew (51), Jimmy (54), and Nick (58) out of 258 runners. Boys did amazing, and they were the second best Minnesota team there. All boys ran season best times.
Varsity girls cross country was 24 out of 27 teams this weekend. Olivia (156), Suzette (160), and Evie (197) out of 225 runners. The girls did an amazing job and almost all ran season best times.

Night before race, we like to dress to impress.
We have a "Great Sportsmanship" traveling trophy in Mrs. Bauer's Elementary PE classes. The 1st graders did a great job and ended the week with it to take back to their classroom. Let's see who can earn it next week!!

A group of Upsala juniors and seniors attended the Minnesota College Fair at CLC in Brainerd today. Beau Ripplinger, who is on track to get his AA degree from CLC this year, found a cardboard cutout to pose in.
