
The girls cross country team finished 13th out of 23 teams at the section meet. Loretta (35), Olivia (80), Suzette (85), Lilli (87), Addy (88), Evie (90), and Holly (97).


The boys varsity cross country team took 3rd out of 23 teams at the section race on Monday (the top 2 teams make state). Quinn (5) and Dawson (6) will be running as state qualifiers. Matthew ( 21), Jimmy (23), Nathan (30), Nick (34), and Owen (35).



Our Robotics team had a wonderful travel day to Bemidji, we took our Bread photo, toured Bemidji State University and helped setup the field for competition today! These kids are awesome!

This week in advisory, Gr. 9 discussed how to deal with distractions when trying to do homework or study.


The Upsala Staff and FCS 2 class recently worked together to make freezer meals for a family going through a hardship. Staff donated the groceries and the students prepared the food. Such an important part of life - giving back!


The 3s and 4s preschool classes have been learning about Community Helpers! Community Helpers include: firefighters, cooks, construction workers, police officers, grocery workers, mail carriers, bus drivers, and many more! Thank you to everyone who helps in our Upsala Community!

The 4 year old preschool classes went on a walking tour of Upsala! We visited: Upsala Chiropractic Centre, Lange Oil, Paul and Kathy's Grocery Store, Stearns Bank, Post Office, and Library. We ended our day at the park! Thank you to our wonderful community for giving us tours!



3 of the 5th graders have earned the black belt on their recorders so far! Way to go!!!

Congrats to the first members of our Kindergarten Shoe Tying Club this year! 👟


The kindergarten class made shakers in music class and filled them with items they brought from home to make unique sounds! Today they got to play them and try each other's before taking them home!


The FCS 1 class has been busy sewing hot/cold packs in class. They will work in the microwave or the freezer. Thank you to the Herzog family for donating corn to put inside!

The FCS 2 class made crumb catchers for the Upsala Senior Living and delivered them to the residents!

Last week the first graders finished making rain sticks in music class and were able to use them as sound effects while reading books about rain!

The Upsala volleyball team earned the #5 seed in the Section 5A playoffs, meaning they will travel to the #4 seed Braham Bombers for their first round of postseason play. The game will be on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:00pm.

Congratulation Upsala Volleyball team for achievement in the classroom! They are an Academic Gold Team .(Top 10 Varsity players GPA averages over 3.75) Also, two Senior Academic All State members- Isabel Ripplinger and Hailie Luedtke will be honored this fall. Way to go Ladies!


Milestone Alert! During the home MEA Volleyball Tournament today, Upsala senior Isabel Ripplinger surpassed 1,000 career digs in the Cardinals' match against Osakis. Ripplinger and the Cardinals went 2-2 on the day, defeating Osakis in the silver bracket finale! Congratulations, Isabel!
