The 2025 Dollars for Scholars Walk-A-Thon fundraiser was held on Friday, October 3. Students raised funds ahead of the walk for a grand total of $3350 for Upsala Area Dollars For Scholars.
29 students raised at least $50 and received pom poms as a thank you. 20 of those also raised at least $100 and received a pizza coupon - thank you to Lange's for that!
The student who raised the most funds ($425) was Kannin Johnson and he received a TV as his prize. The rest of the top five fundraisers were Kaylee Swanson, Evan Swanson, Lily Brannen, and Kaden Koroll. Those students also received prizes including wireless headphones and bluetooth speakers.
Following the awarding of prizes the actual walk was held around town with an escort from the Upsala Fire Department.
